time fly. 7% of the year is actually gone. we all had great plans at the start of the year. new year resolutions and what have you. so have we achieved 7% of what we set out to achieve?

read nicole's blog about the hike in taxi fare. surprisingly, i did not agree with her. i totally agree with the company. this feeling goes the same whenever our govt do something funny, like all the increase in gst and what not. i realised i'm always not at the complaining side of the crowd. maybe life has been too smooth sailing, maybe i can see the bigger picture, maybe i realised there's no point complaining, maybe i'm one of the success cases of govt brainwash or maybe i totally agree with it.

and i couldn't agree more after reading a module on economics. hahaha.

thank goodness i dun think i'm on any path to becoming a politician though that was one of my ambitions. my original ambition is to step up and make a difference. now i think i will step up and help the country.

you see, i'm one of the few people around who has high EQ when it comes to understanding pple and all but i'm also one of the few people around who can totally ignore the emotional issues and well being of people when things need to be done. for example, if a project need to be done, it need to be done. i wouldn't care if my subordinates are having enough sleep. it needs to be done. or rather, that is how i look at things when i'm the subordintes. if things need to be done, it MUST be done. you can talk about well being and all on some other day when things are on a lighter note.

inflation causes things to be more expensive. living cost went up. what we only understand is we have to pay more. did we ever understand that government need to pay more everything as well? maybe its my exposure to higher level shit that causes me to think in their shoes. if we, as a sole citizen is feeling the pain, how will the government, providing for 4 million people feel?

if you are talking abt the super thick salary that our officials are recieving, let's put it this way. if you have to work that hard, you will probably demand that amount too. or maybe more. we are all envious (or shld i say jealous) human beings who want more. the only thing i don't like about the high salaries of high ranking officials is that some of them are so inefficient. or that i've seen. colonels receiving disgusting pay but cannot even think through the chronology? some people are just used to having someone else at the bottom to work for them.
